Manager, Cloud Infrastructure – PRODUCTION Interested in leading a talented team of senior cloud engineers? Want to work with the latest offerings from AWS? The Cloud Infrastructure team is responsible for the architecture, development and implementation of the infrastructure used by our applications. We build the full stack: servers (bare metal on-prem and colo, and in AWS), operating system, and application delivery units. The team works directly with our Development teams to deploy deeply integrated products. As we build out our CXM SaaS platform, the team will be part of building out exciting, cutting edge solutions on AWS. Working with the Director, Platform Operations, the Manager, Cloud Infrastructure role assumes responsibility for the team that manages all network, compute and storage infrastructure across a global network of AWS data centers with a small colo-based VMWare component. Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day management of the Systems team
• Manage the projects that the teams are engaged in, including running stand-ups, maintaining our Kanban story board and ensuring that work is being assigned and completed appropriate.
• Prioritize deliverables and establish short term, mid-term and long term plans
• Personnel administration, including development of development plans for Systems staff.
• Assist in the implementation of infrastructure design as we expand in AWS
• Support complex network environments including problem analysis; network troubleshooting, and network maintenance.
• Diagnosing and resolving outages and following up on root cause analysis
• Working with other teams to deploy new services and solutions
• Maintaining documentation related to infrastructure design and implementation
• Responsible for system provisioning, configuration and deployment
• Manage our Amazon Web Services platform, including cost management, security and implementation of new services.
• Perform routine audits for security, capacity planning, DR, compliance, etc.
• Plan, architect, and implement multi-site disaster recovery
• Work closely with the Security team to deploy and audit production infrastructure
• Continuously identify methods to simplify our architecture while increasing resiliency
• Identify and implement high availability architectures to remove single points of failure

Requirements

• Experience managing an IT infrastructure, Network, SaaS or Devops team.
• Experience managing complex projects.
• Experience in multi-site, heterogeneous, large-scale enterprise or SaaS infrastructure
• Comfort in supporting a global 24/7 environment
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems; excellent inter-personal verbal and written communication skills
• Experience documentation of systems, policies and procedure
• Willing to take part in on-call rotation
• Solid experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux (CentOS)
• Experience with cloud hosting, specifically Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, ELB, CloudFront, etc.)
• Experience with application delivery platforms for load balancing, caching, compression, application firewalling, reverse proxy, SSL termination, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline, and/or will consider relevant experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with configuration management in a cross platform environment; using Chef, Puppet or Ansible to manage and deploy applications to both Windows and Linux devices
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-code like Terraform or Cloudformation
• Strong scripting skills; bash, ruby, powershell, etc
• Network and/or security certifications
