For our team in Dreilinden close to Berlin we are looking for a Data Engineer (d/f/m)
****************************** FIXED TERM CONTRACT *************************************

Your role:

• Derive data integration requirements from product and feature development
• Maintain and improve existing integration tasks
• Collaborate with your colleagues in Berlin, Amsterdam and Shanghai
• Write high quality, clean and maintainable code
• Be an active part of the team to share experience and discuss way forward
• Innovate technology and development process with the team
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts from Berlin, Amsterdam and Shanghai to demonstrate eCG’s data opportunities
  

Your profile:

• 2-3 years of relevant and proven experience as a Data Engineer
• Very good understanding of moving large data sets between different systems
• Previous experience:
• Hadoop, Sparc, Hive, SQL, Java, Exasol, MySQL
• Talend Data Integration
• SVN, GIT
• in creating data models with an SQL based database
• Linux shell scripting
  

Other requirements:

• You believe in teamwork, especially in multi-functional teams and in KISS principle
• You get up to speed with new systems and concepts quickly
• You understand that quality is not assured solely by the QA engineer, but by the team
• You’re convinced that responsibility does not end with deployment
• Experience with Data Vault modelling will be considered as a plus
