We believe in providing people with everything they need to do their best work, and are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can drive key projects across Gusto’s Employee Engagement team. You will be a strategic partner to our Head of Employee Engagement, and oversee projects spanning across our Diversity & Belonging, Employee Relations, and Governance & Compliance teams. You will leverage and work with multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver impactful programs for our Gusties. You will collect feedback and data on current projects and deliver recommendations for future initiatives.
The Employee Engagement team at Gusto is structured into three functional areas: 1) Diversity & Belonging, 2) Employee Relations, and 3) Governance & Compliance. Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Serve as a strategic partner to our Head of Employee Engagement
- Oversee cross-functional team projects
- Set and review team metrics while keeping the trains running smoothly
- Operationalize team processes
- Provide key updates to leadership team and external audiences as needed
Here’s what we're looking for: - 5+ years experience in an operating role, ideally within the HR or Diversity & Belonging space.
- Demonstrated success leading and managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical/fact based decision-making skills combined with the ability to think innovatively.
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization; and experience working with and influencing leaders.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; adjust readily to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change with composure.
- Bonus points for:
- Experience working with and interpreting data
- Supplier diversity experience
- Six sigma or other project management certifications
