Senior Product Manager - Cloud

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager (PM) to drive our Cloudability products. You will be an autonomous owner of your product line, with direct impact on the strategic direction of Apptio and single-threaded responsibility for the execution of all product development efforts the product line. We’re looking for a technical, analytical, and passionate leader to deliver innovative new offerings in response to customer needs. The right candidate will have the proven ability to dive deep into complex customer challenges and understand how to create simple yet elegant solutions to those challenges. You will guide the integration, market awareness, customer demand, and adoption of this product to global organizations. You will work closely with our engineering, design, product marketing, customer success and sales teams to drive the product planning lifecycle from market validation to strategic planning and execution. What we want you to do:

• Partner with engineering and the wider PM team as well as executive stakeholders to identify and document customer needs and use cases to define your product roadmap
• Execute on the roadmap and prioritize features designed to satisfy unmet customer needs and emerging challenges
• Collaborate with product marketing to create compelling messaging and content that clearly communicates the product value proposition and strategy to your market
• Analyze and understand the competitive landscape for IT financial management and work to develop features that differentiate
• Understand Apptio’s core product strengths and work to integrate them into new platforms and partnerships, and vice versa
• Closely track industry trends and adapt your product strategy accordingly
• Drive product roadmap innovation through rapid triage of facts and data

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of bringing compelling product offerings to market

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the modern cloud market across public, private, and hybrid platforms
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Deep passion for understanding customer and market feedback
• A passion and aptitude for rapid learning
