JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Specialist plays a central role in the smooth running of a lean marketing team and drives relationships with external suppliers and partners. The successful candidate will be a technologically literate, creative yet disciplined marketing professional, with a demonstrable ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and build strong relationships within and beyond the company, while bringing creative flair to the team.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate activities for tradeshows, conferences, webinars and other customer events, including liaison with exhibition organizers, contractors, service providers, and Applanix attendees
• Coordinate activities for online and print advertising, including design and review with Product Managers
• Perform writing, editing, and distribution of corporate communications materials for internal and external audiences
• Share in ownership and management of relationships with media and analysts
• Liaise with other divisions within Trimble to build internal marketing impact
• Help develop and implement outbound lead generation campaigns into existing and new markets.
• Provide responsive marketing services support to business functions including sales, business development, product management, engineering, customer services
• Play a key part in the development of social media marketing initiatives particularly around events
• Develop a close and effective working relationship with business, engineering, customer support and sales organization:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in marketing, or equivalent qualification
• 2+ years’ experience in business-to-business marketing, preferably in a high-tech industry (Preferred)
• Experience in running event and conference programs including online events such as webinars
• An understanding of the effective use of social media in a B2B context
• Excellent writing, proofing, and editing skills
• Proficient time management and the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
• Knowledge of the positioning/mapping/survey space would be a strong asset
• Familiarity with leading online marketing tools and content management systems
• An excellent ability to build and maintain relationships across business functions
