Sales Operations for Professional Services & Training

Sales Operations is the driving force behind every Sales organization, responsible for accelerating the growth of the business by enabling sellers to sell most effectively. Snowflake’s Professional Services & Training organization is dedicated to enabling customers and partners on Snowflake to drive quicker time-to-value and an accelerated return on investment. Thus Sales Operations for Professional Services & Training is uniquely positioned at the cross section of these critical support functions to make a true impact on the business.

Our team is building the capabilities needed to scale Snowflake into new markets and customer segments, introduce new service offerings, and sell through new channels. In this role you will work closely with Snowflake’s Sales leaders as well as cross-functional leaders across the company to expand upon existing solutions and build out new sales motions, processes, and capabilities.

We’re looking for someone who loves combining strategy with execution and can roll up their sleeves to bring plans to life. This role requires a “full stack” player; comfortable in lead or support roles across a variety of projects and strategy and operations responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Be the dedicated business partner, strategist, and thought leader for key stakeholders in the Professional Services & Training organizations
  • Provide global coverage & support
  • Develop process and technology solutions to business challenges that are built to scale the entire Sales organization
  • Drive operational effectiveness by providing training and enablement as well as evaluating the adoption of Professional Services & Training offerings
  • Own core planning responsibilities for the Professional Services & Training organization: quota setting, assigning and managing territories, developing comp plan structures, organizing headcount, etc.
  • Provide analytical support through reporting and dashboards on Salesforce, various BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.), as well as Excel/Sheets
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as required
  • Oversee data management, quality, & hygiene for Professional Services & Training data
  • Maintain and improve Professional Services & Training processes and functionality in Salesforce & CPQ, including implementation of new SKUs, approvals, validation rules, etc.
  • Document processes, policies, best practices, and help guides
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Billing, Legal, IT, Engineering, Deal Desk, Analytics, etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations
  • 1+ years of experience working with SaaS startups
  • Working knowledge of sales processes and systems, including Salesforce/CPQ and order-to-cash systems and processes
  • Advanced Salesforce user
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data driven approach to problem solving
  • Advanced Microsoft Office & G-suite: Excel, Powerpoint, Sheets, Docs, Slides
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to balance time and effort across multiple projects while supporting emergent needs
  • Understanding of core business processes in a B2B technology environment; sales, marketing, product development, customer support and success, professional services
  • Experience identifying, evaluating and analyzing business opportunities while working with cross-functional teams to drive decisions
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and pick up new skill sets quickly
  • Self-starter with track record of creativity, innovation, flexibility, and execution
  • Track record working with high value stakeholders including C-suite and global leaders
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in analytics-based field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Partner, Channel, Services, and/or Training Operations
  • Basic Salesforce admin skills
  • BI analytics tools experience (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • SQL
  • Sales performance/enablement tools (Engagio, Uberflip, Marketo, Vidyard, etc.)
