Team Description

ITS delivers business technology strategy and solutions to our Dropbox business partners so they can work confidently, move fast, and scale effortlessly. Role Description

As a Technical Project Manager within the PMO team you’ll work multi-functionally across the organization to deliver solutions that meet Dropbox’s business needs. You’ll manage a portfolio of projects within one or more of Dropbox’s internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Finance and People. Using a hybrid waterfall and agile approach, you’ll work with business partners define requirements and work with technical partners to perform resource allocation, create and execute against the project roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and handle multiple projects of varying size and complexity
  • Build and foster a partnership with business and technical leaders
  • Prepare roadmaps, and break the work down into actionable work streams
  • Facilitate prioritization and trade-off discussions
  • Identify and lead multi-functional dependencies and unblock roadblocks
  • Be hands on, dedicated and have the skills to craft what’s needed
  • Distill complex issues into actionable plans
  • Influence and negotiate to work towards solutions and resolution
  • Prepare and deliver communications to varying audiences
  • Be a change agent and lead change management efforts
  • Other efforts as required

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of project management in technology
  • 3+ year of program and portfolio management
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university or college
  • Experience in leading large, high-profile and complex projects
  • Extraordinary and crisp interpersonal skills with business and technical teams
  • Experience running projects in hybrid Waterfall and Agile
  • Experience handling conflicts and negotiating successful outcomes
  • Experience with Jira, Smartsheets, Google Sheets
  • Experience with capacity planning
  • Experience with enterprise business applications is a plus
