In this role, you have the opportunity to

Driving the Market return process improvements while assuring optimal integration of ServiceMax into our current processes

You are responsible for

  • Driving Market return process improvement and standardization on areas like exception management, supply chain setup and the connection with Market processes
  • Contributing to the integration of ServiceMax in the Market return processes, assuring an optimized integration of ServiceMax into the current processes and tools.
  • Providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to projects impacting Reverse Supply Chain processes
  • Working actively with our partners to improve our KPIs related to the Market return flow.
  • Setting up and maintaining return process 'blueprint' documentation related to the Market to SPS returns process
  • Quality assurance of outsourced processed related the execution exception management by our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) providers.

You are a part of

You will be part of the Global Service Parts Supply Chain (SPS). SPS, part of Global Services & Solutions, is the single service parts provider within Philips for Health Systems. SPS is responsible for the total service parts supply chain from the factory/suppliers to the regions. The strategy is to maximize the service part availability, minimize the total cost of operation and minimize the inventory level. To realize this strategy, SPS operates a global service parts network, including supply management, strategic planning, Forward Logistics (warehouse/distribution), Customer Demand Management and reverse logistics

The Global Reverse Supply Chain function in SPS is End-to-End accountable for the global reverse supply chain performance of service parts. This includes the management of global field returns, management of global return warehouse operations outsourced to third party provider (aka Blue rooms) and implementation of breakthrough/continuous improvement initiatives in the E2E Reverse supply chain. Furthermore, this function also owns Parts Quality function in SPS, which has its core role to provide support, programs and actions to improve Service Parts Quality and Defect on Arrival (DEFOA) returns.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelors or Master (Msc) degree in Logistics, Business Economics or Operations
  • At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management operations in a global organization operating in a return supply chain or service environment
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP R/3 especially related to the modules Sales and Distribution and Materials Management. Knowledge of and/ or experience with ServiceMax is recommended
  • Ability to drive improvements using an end to end process perspective
  • Experience with working in an virtual environment and working with Business Process Outsourcing providers and return warehouses
  • Fact focused and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English both in speech as well as in writing
  • Proven global skills and experience in cross-cultural environment teamwork
