ROLE

We’re looking to add a Quality Engineer II to an already awesome engineering team. You will be responsible for validating and automating multiple SaaS applications in the social media space. You will work in small, cross-functional teams and love delivering value to our customers through shipping code. We deploy as often as we can and would love you to deploy to production beginning day one.

WHAT YOU WILL DO ?

● Design and develop manual tests for web application.

● Take complete ownership of release deliverables in your functional areas

● Focus on customer centric testing and ensure zero escapes to production.

● Be able to mitigate risks for release deliverables and communicate

● Adapt to and suggest process improvements for uplifting product quality

● Identify performance/load test scope needed in your functional areas

● Work with an awesome team in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ?

● At least 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering

● Excellent knowledge in testing skills- design test plan and test strategy, test cases building and execution.

● Hands-on Java programming Scripting, API test and automation

● Working knowledge on Selenium or other automated testing tools, Rest based services automation, TestNG/ Junit

● Hands-on experience with Eclipse or other IDE development tools

WHAT WOULD ADD VALUE ?

● Unix scripting, Data pipeline understanding

● Someone who understands git, pull requests and good software test practices

● Basic understanding of social media domain
