Job Description

Due to the current health crisis related to COVID-19 and the escalating visa/travel restrictions in place, we're currently unable to extend offers to anyone who cannot work from Singapore due to lockdown visa/travel restrictions, or other restrictive measures until further notice. Consequently, we will be prioritizing candidates who can start in this location by set date as expected. We're keeping the situation under review and would adjust our position should the restrictive measures be removed later on.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience working in an Enterprise Software/SaaS sales organization

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience, preferably in management consulting, and / or having held Strategy / Sales Operations roles in an Enterprise Software firm or other sales management capacity
  • Strong ability to project manage and work independently, comfortable crafting and communicating insights from data.
  • Strong attention to detail and an affinity for metrics and understanding trends and patterns in business performance
  • Ability to be adapt quickly within a fast-paced environment with limited direction, balance competing priorities, and manage several time-sensitive projects at once.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

The Go-to-Market Strategy & Operations organization partners with our Cloud sales organization in developing go-to-market strategies, providing business critical insights using analytics, ensuring cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helping teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward.
Based in Singapore, the Cloud GTM Strategy and Sales Operations Manager role is a critical member of the Cloud Go To Market Operations team. Our team of highly creative visionaries thrives in deconstructing and re-creating businesses to meet changing strategic and operational needs, enable, incubate and scale innovation, establish more efficient practices, align functions and stakeholders to help the company continue to achieve its vast potential.
You will be a thought and execution partner for our South East Asia (SEA) Cloud Sales and Cloud Leadership Team, think strategically and help drive best global practices into SEA. You will help scale up our successful business in the region by helping Google define and execute strategic and operational initiatives that contribute to the company's growth and drive operational excellence.
Reporting to the Head of SEA GTM Strategy and Operations, you will be confident working independently in a fast-paced, constantly evolving global executive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, structure, and lead key strategic initiatives and business programs e.g., strategic planning, business scaling, growth programs, quota setting, and performance improvement programs
  • Support the Head of SEA GTM Strategy and Operations, by providing thought leadership to the Cloud Sales Leadership and cross-functional leaders, and jointly with them, develop the market’s business plan and go-to-market sales strategy and gain the required support to execute programs
  • Analyze and develop deep insights on business performance, core performance metrics and support in preparation of weekly / monthly business reviews for the sales teams and x-functional teams
  • Drive operational excellence
  • revenue, opportunity and health and performance metrics, across our rapidly growing Cloud teams in-market.
  • Share best practices with other regional / global Google Sales Operations teams
