Accounting Associate

Job Description

Looking for a vital team member to join our finance team. We are looking to hire a entry level accountant to help with accounts payable and account receivable functions in our San Francisco location. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and looking for an opportunity to grow their accounting career.

• Review and approve travel & expense for the company in accordance to policy on a regular basis
• Review and code invoices to appropriate accounts and submit to internal teams for approval
• Perform monthly account reconciliations
• Maintain and update vendor database
• Investigate invoice discrepancies with vendors
• Communicate with employees if T&E issues arise
• Audit and process credit card bills
• Maintain and update client database
• Generate invoices and account statements
• Investigate and resolve billing issues

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of AP or relevant experience in a fast pace / high growth environment
• Associates degree in Accounting or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong time management
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• High attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with ability to handle possible tense interactions
• Ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish goals
• Experience with Quickbook Online or Intacct, Abacus, AMEX@work preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks skills.
