Director of Sales Force Effectiveness - Northeast

YOU ARE more than just a title, YOU ARE...

You are a key partner to your Area VP and will provide solutions to grow the business based on observations, analysis of market share and available reports. You are also a critical element of helping to shape and maintain the Area culture. By sharing key observations for the field, the leadership team, as well as disseminating area data, you will help drive sales results.


  • Enhance Business Execution and Collaboration with all departments i.e. Managed Care in terms of addressing localized business dynamics which exist within the area.
  • Build Bridges: You will also act as a bridge between the Brand Teams, Field Sales and Training to ensure all remote training is coordinated across all brand content, deliverables and that the required training is implemented in a timely manner and at a high level of efficiency and accountability.
  • Lead the execution of the Future Managers Program and the Advanced Leaders program at the local level as well as assist in the development of newly promoted managers and tenured District Sales Managers
  • Act as the point person for all Brand Product/People Training across the area


  • At least five (5) years of management experience in the pharmaceutical industry; previous experience as a Specialty District Manager is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university required
  • Prior experience with delivering training programs and coaching/counseling others
  • Demonstrated strong clinical product knowledge
