WHY BOX NEEDS YOU The Global Executive Recruiting team is focused on partnering with Box's senior leadership to attract and hire the best executive talent for Box. We essentially run a "mini search firm" inside of Box, leading a high touch, strategic and consistent executive recruiting process to enable our growth as the leader in Cloud Content Management (CCM). We are passionate about customer service and creating positive experiences for our candidates and clients (internal executives). In this role, you will own your searches start to finish and be charged with providing strategic advice resulting in a premier candidate and client experience. Our team is hands-on, quick, creative, collaborative, and strategic. We love search and being a part of helping Box grow globally. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to help craft how we do our work, define the standard for greatness, and expand your recruiting chops into other functional areas. WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Drive a high-touch, proactive, and consultative full life-cycle search process.
  • Source, attract, and deliver highly qualified passive candidates. Assess candidates and make recommendations to hiring managers, drive the evaluation process and hiring decisions, execute candidate follow–up and feedback.
  • Provide outstanding guidance to hiring managers to shape their talent needs to best match the needs of Box and the talent in the market. Advise hiring leaders on search strategy, effective and efficient search processes, and market/hiring trends.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process at the executive level including partnering with hiring managers on position specifications, creating and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies, managing the interview process, assessing candidates' skills, experiences and attributes, and completing offer discussions.
  • Work closely with the businesses throughout the search process providing consistent, detailed communication and memorable client service.
  • Develop a deep understanding of candidates' leadership style, personal background, professional history, and specific fit to the role.
  • In partnership with compensation, provide guidance on compensation packages and lead compensation negotiations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information internally and externally.
WHO YOU ARE
  • 8+ years of experience recruiting senior level talent
  • Direct recruiting experience in a fast pace, high growth technology company
  • Prior experience consulting and managing clients in a professional services environment
  • A passion and a strong track record of hiring diverse talent
  • Strong track record of solving complex problems, designing creative strategies, and delivering significant hiring impact for a business
  • Strong domain knowledge and expertise in executive search or executive talent acquisition
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously as well as strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Good judgment and executive presence and ability to interface effectively with senior executives
  • Demonstrated personal accountability and integrity
  • The ideal candidate is a detail oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills, executive presence, strong communication skills and a great sense of humor!
  • Comprehensive behavioral based interviewing and candidate assessment skills is desirable
  • BA/BS degree
