DescriptionJoining Intuitive Surgical means joining a team dedicated to using technology to benefit patients by improving surgical efficacy and decreasing surgical invasiveness, with patient safety as our highest priority.
Primary function of position: The Marketing Operations team manages strategic marketing processes through and including comprehensive reporting – focusing on organization, process, execution, and analysis. The guiding principles are to enhance strategic planning processes by facilitating constructive friction and to drive executional efficiency by reducing operational friction.
This Marketing Planning role will be key in organizing and prioritizing customer-facing activities in Marketing, creating the sequence of steps to guide the company to a rigorous, well-considered, impactful, and efficient Marketing plan. An effective Marketing plan is transformational by curating an audience-centric set of assets and tactics that connect various segments of stakeholders with personalized messages that spark curiosity and deliver information leading ultimately to the purchase and deeper adoption of Intuitive products and services.
Job Description:
- Lead annual Marketing planning process to achieve Marketing and business growth objectives
- Coordinate the activities of the Marketing Review Board, maintain the agenda, ensure the regular cadence of meetings, and help prioritize key decisions
- Advocate for audience-centric campaigns, collaborating to identify smart segmentation and value-based messaging
- Enable commercial, corporate, and product marketers to maximize the benefit to Intuitive stakeholders through integrated campaigns
- Responsible for management of templates, timeline, resources and overall planning process and calendar publication
- Work with stakeholders across the organization to align support and input for the planning process
- Responsible for achieving common marketing plan across the company and for driving prioritization of marketing activites and alignment with sales team
- Establish and manage the forums and communication norms to build the plan
- Foster data-informed planning process, clear target setting, and team empowerment
- Champion marketing personalization and scalability through digital marketing techniques
- Partner closely with content strategy team to map audience/customer journeys
- Other responsibilities as business need determines
QualificationsSkill/Job Requirements: - Superb communication skills with all levels of the organization
- High attention to detail and ability to make process easy
- Exceptional ability to partner effectively and influence without authority with varying cross functional teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or business discipline, MBA preferred
- Experience in business transformations serving in either a sales or marketing capacity
- Outstanding business acumen with experience in core marketing functions, facilitation, process development, planning, target setting, and reporting
- 12+ years of experience in planning, analysis, and marketing
- Strong interest in medical technology and delivering solutions that improve patients’ lives
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
