Navy Gun Systems Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager

Job Description

Job Description Plans and manages Navy Gun Systems technical manual, training, provisioning, and other related ILS activities.
Ensures technically accurate and adequate ILS support for assigned gun systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Directs the development and delivery of assigned products. This includes but is not limited to technical manuals, parts provisioning, training materials, support equipment, and task analysis.
2. Establishes and manages the ILS schedules for Gun Systems technical manual, training, and other ILS projects. Integrates ILS schedules with overall program master schedules.
3. Responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy and adequacy of delivered products.
4. Acts as primary interface with external customers on ILS activities and deliverables.
5. Manages and provides program direction and technical guidance to functional staff.

Typical Education & Experience Typically a Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience.Required Skills and Education

• Demonstrated technical manual, training, or other related Navy ILS work experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and documentation.

Preferred Skills and Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
• Demonstrated work experience or prior service with the United States Navy.
• Experience with US Navy Gun Systems.
