Are you searching for a dynamic and technically challenging role as a Quality and Reliability Engineer? Do you like exploring new techniques in Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) product qualification and monitoring in high-volume manufacturing?

As a NVM QRA Engineer in Global Quality, we are expected to lead product qualification programs, conduct electrical failure analysis and data analysis toward qualification of next-generation 3D NAND memory devices. In order to sustain and improve Micron's memory quality, you will also be responsible for developing and overseeing outgoing monitor plans.

Deviation management is integral in an HVM environment and therefore, you will be tasked to perform risk assessment and provide product disposition.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Define qualification plans, manage qualification requirements, comprehend failures and rates within the scope of qualification, and perform risk assessments on all critical read points within the qualification plan.
• Coordinate with other groups such as Process Development, Product Engineering, Design, Manufacturing and other engineering teams involved in the qualification process to ensure appropriate product quality/reliability evaluation methods are developed and followed.
• Provide release documentation upon achieving qualification and set up plans to monitor the quality and reliability of the products in the HVM phase.
• Coordinate with Research and Development and Product Engineering teams to comprehend new reliability issues and how to test for and assess their impact to customer risk and reliability.
• Assist and consult on post qualification quality and reliability issues and assist in the analysis and disposition of these materials.
• Perform product failure analysis on rejects to identify the failure mode and mechanisms that will lead to successful corrective actions and/or preventive actions.

Skills and Experience

• You need some course work in electrical/electronic engineering, statistical analysis, and device physics. We value team member with an interest semiconductor fabrication processes. Knowledge of NAND & NOR cell technology is a plus. Individuals should have some basic understanding of memory operation and computer language.
• Familiarity with basic semiconductor electrical fundamentals (through coursework or employment) is expected. You should also have good analytical and problem-solving skills and be highly motivated. You need a strong work ethic and the capability to work independently and in teams. Strong communication, computer skills, and presentation skills are advantageous.

Education

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
