About this role

We are seeking a highly qualified, motivated and experienced individual for the position of Accounting Manager. You will report to the Controller and interact directly with management and customers. You will be accountable and responsible for supporting the company’s financial reporting requirements in accordance with US GAAP as well as providing analytical and strategic support. You are a critical thinker, highly organized, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong ability to build effective relationships across the company.

About you

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related discipline or minimum 7+ years of relevant experience
  • You have Big 4 Public Accounting experience and/or CPA
  • You exhibit strong analytical and organization skills, with impeccable attention to detail
  • You are a team player and can work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • You have current and robust knowledge of trends in accounting and requirements under US GAAP

What you’ll do

  • Complete the month-end accounting close process, including posting journal entries, and maintaining account reconciliations
  • Collaborate with various functional leaders within Remind to support the accounting close process, drive OPEX trend analysis, improve the Order-to-Cash process
  • Ensure revenue is accurately recorded, including appropriate revenue allocation in accordance with ASC 606
  • Rollout and maintain improved tools and systems for maintaining accounting records
  • Own Accounts Payable function
  • Assist in technical accounting and reporting research activities
  • Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned
