Job Description

Due to the current health crisis related to COVID-19 and the escalating visa/travel restrictions in place, we're currently unable to extend offers to anyone who cannot work from India due to lockdown visa/travel restrictions, or other restrictive measures until further notice. Consequently, we will be prioritizing candidates who can start in this location by set date as expected. We're keeping the situation under review and would adjust our position should the restrictive measures be removed later on.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in working with video/brand focused clients, Video/TV based narratives and tools.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with media agencies, digital media solutions and/or service delivery management. Knowledge of, and passion for, Google’s video ad product suite (YouTube).
  • Video Black/Blue belt certification.
  • Understanding of the business nuances of Retail and Tech-telecom industry. Excellent storyteller and able to develop and deliver.
  • Effective project management skills and ability to oversee multiple, simultaneous solutions, supported by internal teams.
  • Proactive and capable of independently creating business development opportunities.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, with excellent business judgment and ability to communicate in a clear manner. Ability to present to executives and communicate with sales teams.

Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. As a Video Specialist, you'll service our in-market sellers on sales strategy across Google Ads/YouTube. You'll capture the growth from the emerging video opportunity, while being an expert on the product.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work extensively with the North American sales teams to provide insights-driven YouTube solutions to pitch to clients.
  • Be a thought leader in video implementation, optimization, and measurement. Coordinate with Google’s customer solutions team and Specialist Community to stay up to date on an area of expertise.
  • Partner with GTM to ensure KPI/BFM prioritization, alignment, and adoption. Work with in-market video specialist team to solve problems based on insights-driven business rationale, advertiser needs, and business opportunities for the sector.
  • Own scalable solutions while partnering with vendors and other stakeholders. Manage and proactively follow-up account plans to ensure quarterly rhythm. Optimize campaigns/provide estimations/planning using data-driven approaches and KPIs.
  • Support the choice between auction or reserve campaigns, targeting methods and inventory. Support Sales teams to translate video pitches and campaign briefings into effective video campaigns.
