Overview

Fairview Health Services is looking for a Service and Product Assistant at the UMMC West Bank in Minneapolis, MN. This position works 80 hours per two week pay period on the Day shift.This position is eligible for benefits.

The SPA position has the responsibility of distributing and delivering materials, supplies and equipment as well as loading/unloading and packing/unpacking materials, supplies and equipment. It will also include the cleaning of Medical equipment.

The schedule for this position is from 6:00am-2:30pm

Week 1: Monday,Wendesday,Thursday,Friday

Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday, Friday,Saturday

Responsibilities/Job Description

The Service and Product Assistant (SPA) is responsible for receipt, shipment, delivery, replenishment, cleansing and maintenance of appropriate equipment, supplies, and forms. The SPA maintains adequate inventory levels of equipment, linen and supplies, and responds to customer requests for supplies and demonstrates effective communication.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 6 months comparable materials or related experience and/or extensive knowledge of medical hardware/software and medical supplies through formal education channels.
• Proficient in the English language
• Independent use of computers including data entry.

Preferred qualifications:

• 1+ years of comparable experience. Vocational or Technical Training, Associates Degree.
