Customer Retention Executive Leader

Boise, Idaho

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Customer Retention Executive leads the sales force to achieve group retention and meet company profitability goals. S/he establishes and maintains group and broker relationships and manages the team to retain and grow enrollment in assigned groups.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Directs sales staff in accordance with departmental priorities, ensuring proper resource allocation.
  • Responsible for directing and assisting the sales team on renewals and account management to retain and grow enrollment.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of all markets and complies with price and sale budgets.
  • Exhibits working knowledge of Regence systems and basic desktop application software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong listening and reasoning skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Oversees collection and evaluation of industry, technical, economic and other relevant data to increase market share and competitive standing.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to analyze costs and benefits of various solutions which support business strategies an objectives.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing and successfully implementing sales and marketing strategy plans including customer segmentation, sales process design, sales role definition, coverage models, sales organization design, goal setting, performance management and salesncentive programs.
  • Experience developing and delivering clear and concise presentations and workshops for producers and groups.
  • Creative problem solving capabilities.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals and groups related to adding new lines of coverage and servicing exiting accounts.
  • The Customer Retention Executive would have a/an Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and 5 years of experience in group sales and three years' experience in a supervisory role or equivalent combinationof education and experience.
  • Must be currently licensed, or must become licensed within 60 days of hire, to sell insurance (health, life, and/or disability) in Idaho and/or states where business is conducted.
