Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Senior Vlocity Developer. Candidates can live anywhere in the US, able to work remotely. If able to make short trip to clients preferred but not required.

Job Overview:

As a Senior Vlocity Developer you will participate in all aspects of the Vlocity, Salesforce development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. Your focus will be on implementing Vlocity Software on high profile projects. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from Vlocity solution architects and Leads on development activities.

Responsibilities

• Implementing Vlocity for variious clients with excellence.
• Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.
• Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.
• Develop applications in languages including... Vlocity, Salesforce
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

Qualifications

• Passionate coder with 3 years of application development experience.
• 1 year of Vlocity Development, highly prefer a Vlocity certification
• Proficient with Vlocity tools such as Omniscripts, Data Raptor, Integration Procedures, etc
• 2+ years of Salesforce Development with a breadth of experience with Salesforce Developer skills.
• Salesforce (Apex, VisualForce, Lightning)
• CPQ (Steelbrick CPQ, highly preferred)
• Java, SOAP APIs, REST (JSON, XML)
• Data modeling
• Process modeling tools and best practices
• Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
• Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with various organizations in pursuit of problem solutions.
