The Developer Relations team is searching for a Senior Developer Communications Manager to drive Roblox developer communication channels including social media, forums, and blogs while working with the Developer Relations team to build a voice for Roblox externally and internally. In addition, you will work to build global developer recruitment efforts and provide product marketing to global developers. This includes building a value proposition for the Roblox platform that drives new developer adoption globally. Such initiatives could include viral marketing campaigns, physical events, social media publications, and other forms of online and offline engagement. You will also be responsible for editing and assisting with cross-departmental developer communications from within the company; working with PR and product to ensure our product is represented in its best light.

You will be responsible for owning and improving communications while working with a cross-functional set of stakeholders in the company to understand external developer expectations. You will also help build measurable benchmarks and KPIs around program status, risks and success. You Are:

• Communications-focused with 4+ years work experience in communications
• Superb writer and editor with the ability to iterate quickly
• Adept in technical writing with the ability to understand complicated product and engineering concepts and communicate them back to developers in simple, jargon-free language
• Passionate, hard-working, self-starter with a positive attitude
• Self-driven, responsible, flexible team player who takes ownership for projects
• Big Bonus: A love for game development and video games

You Will:

• Inspire, inform, and communicate with a global developer community regarding the latest features, API, services, and developer successes
• Create content road maps and calendars for recurring communication initiatives
• Own multiple communication mediums and build internal processes around them
• Track and internally communicate trends and effectiveness of various social channels
• Create consistent, scaling communications leveraging community champions
• Effectively communicate and manage expectations, resources, and timelines
