Job Summary

Medpace is a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) that is rapidly growing across the world. Due to our recent growth, we are in need of qualified and focused driven individuals, like yourself. This is a critical role in our continuously-growing Human Resources department, where you will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. As a Compensation & Benefits Analyst, you will be able to use your finely tuned skills to help accomplish task that are instrumental to the company’s growth.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in, and analyze the results of both domestic and international salary surveys, as well as gather market intelligence, to assist in making decisions regarding internal salary ranges, salary increases and benefit changes
  • Prepare training materials, guides, and documentation, and offers hands-on support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users
  • Draft new and update existing job documentation
  • Maintain departmental databases and HR systems
  • Maintain career path specification and pay grade tables
  • Research local country laws and common practices related to employment, compensation, and benefits
  • Maintain departmental databases and HR systems
  • Assist in compliance reviews and reporting to various functional areas across the company
  • Create and maintain HR dashboards in Microsoft PowerBI
  • Support moderately complex compensation projects and serve as a compensation representative on HR and organization-wide initiatives
  • Support the global Compensations and Benefits team in the auditing of current compensation programs to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
  • Support the global Compensations and Benefits team in the administration of bonus, merit, promotion, evaluation, and other pay-related processes annually
  • Support the review of employee changes (new hires, rehires, transfers, etc.), globally
  • Assist global Compensations and Benefits department with other projects, as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience in Compensation or HR is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership and see tasks through completion with a high degree of detail and organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential data
  • High attention to detail
  • Above average mathematical skills including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
