We’ve built powerful machine learning capabilities, and our matching algorithm is becoming more intelligent with each passing day. Our Sales Development Representatives (SDR) are responsible for bringing new, qualified companies to the platform. As an SDR, you will work directly with the Onboarding team to build and manage a sales pipeline, as well as help new clients with training and hiring best practices.

Key responsibilities and expectations:

  • Help to deliver an above-and-beyond sales experience through phone, email, LinkedIn and in-person communication
  • Prospect for new clients by researching markets and staying up to trend on industry updates
  • Set proper expectations for our prospects to have an incredible first impression of our product
  • Become a Vettery expert: Learn the Vettery marketplace inside and out and evangelize it in the small business world
  • Utilize the latest software tools (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach) in order to accomplish your sales goals
  • Go through rigorous sales training including a first week bootcamp and consistent 1:1s with our sales leadership team

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Most importantly, a positive person! You'll be working in a highly demanding and fast-paced, ever evolving work environment
  • Resilient. You can withstand rejection and will work tirelessly to prove people wrong. You are unafraid to stand your ground and make sound arguments on the benefit of a product you believe in
  • A record breaker. You like to know what the top achievements are so you can break them and stand out
  • A coachable person who isn’t looking to reinvent the wheel. You want to learn from those who have spent years developing best practices surrounding this sales process
  • Strong track record of doing your best whether in school, extracurriculars, internships, military, or other job experiences
  • 0-1 year of SDR or BDR experience is strongly preferred
