About The Role

The AI Research team is currently dedicated to the question: “What makes great sales conversations?” Our proprietary dataset of audio, call transcripts and conversation outcomes positions us to surface never-seen-before insights in this fascinating question. We are looking for a Data Analyst who will join and support the AI Research team by making data easily accessible and by testing hypotheses on data. The ideal person has excellent critical thinking skills, great attention to detail, and a strong sense of initiative, collaboration and helpfulness.

The work is a mix of database administration, data analysis, business intelligence and hypothesis testing. Ideally, you have experience running SQL queries on large data sets, are curious about what makes great conversations, have some knowledge of machine learning practices and data requirements and are comfortable operating in an agile environment. Responsibilities

• Acquire and clean data sets to support AI Research experiments
• Streamline access to data and simplify query logic by building views
• Ability and desire to understand the point of view of key stakeholders, including the AI Research team and our end users. Includes participating in some customer interviews and learning about sales/support workflows.
• Test hypotheses with data
• Given a use-case be able to recommend and source the required data independently

Requirements

• 1+ years experience as a data analyst or similar quantitative role.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and research skills
• Excellent communicator and listener
• Curiosity about what makes great conversations
• Strong sense of initiative, collaboration and helpfulness
• Flexible with regards to changing priorities & business needs
• Proficient in SQL
• Experience with Python

Bonus points for

• Coursework in Statistics
• Background in communication, biological sciences, computational linguistics or dealing with human data
• Experience with B2B sales and support workflows
