TITLE: Sr. QA Engineer

LOCATION: Sunnyvale, CA or Champaign, IL.

Our Quality Assurance engineering team is looking for an experienced QA Engineer to help test Riverbed’s WAN Optimization and SD-Wan products, both on-prem and cloud versions. Our QA team manages and maintains our own Python based automation framework.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
• 6+ years of proven experience as QA.
• 6+ years of experience with driving quality across an organization as a holistic plan and not just test execution
• 6+ years of experience with QA methodologies and software testing techniques and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation frameworks and automating test cases in Python is required.
• Experience with testing cloud applications.
• Knowledge of full suite of TCP/IP-based protocols, with in-depth knowledge of routing and network management protocols.
• Experience working with product owners and developers to define user stories.
• Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution.
• Demonstrated experience in leading QA effort on large-scale software projects or deliverables; strong organizational skills.
• Experience with using Agile development methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in measuring and reporting quality-related metrics to identify trends and proactively solve problems
• Experience using test cases management tools (like TestRail) and issues management tools (like jira etc)
• Good oral and written communication skills, Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
• Ability to multitask.
