About the Role

In this role, you will play a major role in building a platform that enables product and technical monitoring, geospatial visualization, and data analysis. Data is a large and growing key to our business success and an effective platform is key to providing the team with up-to-date insights. This position demands broad expertise in data analysis and visualization, social skills to work with internal customers, and determined execution.

About the Work

• Work with technical and non-technical internal customers to design effective ways of summarizing large amounts of data generated from robots and simulation
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualization tools
• Work with infrastructure engineers to effectively organize our data and build data extraction and analysis pipelines
• Provide guidance for data visualization, analysis, and collection

About You

• You are a software engineer with passion for large-scale data analysis and visualization
• Experience with building dashboard, reports, data pipelines and analysis tools
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to work with non-technical customers to solve problems.
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
• You have start-up DNA: You have demonstrated an ability to thrive in the ambiguity of a dynamic, start-up environment or have the DNA to do so

Bonus Points

• Experience with Google Datastudio, BigQuery, and other Google tools
• Experience in geographical data visualization
• Experience with SQL and Web design
• Experience implementing machine learning and data science workload
• Data visualization experience using R, Python, d3.js or Tableau
