Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Desktop Support Intern to join our End User Services team. In this role, you will work alongside our Desktop Technicians to assist in supporting end user activities including triage, troubleshooting, password resets, software installation, PC hardware repair, and hardware deployment, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, video conference systems, and other conference room equipment. This role will provide a summer of valuable, hands-on technology experience in a professional environment.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS INTERNSHIP

• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology or related field
• Must be enrolled full-time at the college/university level for the Fall 2020 semester
• Familiar with operation of PCs
• Experience installing Operating Systems (Windows or Linux), building PCs, and/or working in a campus lab (or similar environment) a plus
• Driver, self-starter; open to learn and be trained
• Works well in team-oriented environment; understands when to ask for help
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday
  • Roles run from May to August
  • This internship is based in our University Park, IL office, therefore interested applicants must reside in the Chicagoland area
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
