As part of the Trips Team, these Internship roles will work on Experiences in multiple markets.

There are two Internship opportunities available, one working on the Spanish speaking markets and one working on the Portuguese markets. This role will focus on the Portuguese markets so fluency in Portuguese is required.

We are seeking passionate, positive, bright, forward-thinking and entrepreneurial people to help us develop the Spanish and Portuguese market. The Trips Market Interns will report to the Trips Market Manager for Spain and Portugal and will be based in Barcelona.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Help support the growth of “Experiences” in multiple Portuguese markets individually
• Promote new Airbnb features among hosts
• Help promote the new Experiences platform to professionals, entrepreneurs and passionate people
• Support the Experience host community and the organisation of community events
• Help engaging the host community

REQUIREMENTS :

• Fluency in Portuguese & English required for the Portuguese Market Experiences Internship
• Currently studying or recently graduated with Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field of study
• Ability to read and quickly/deeply understand complex Spain & Portugal market research.
• Growth mindset to think and act like an entrepreneur and determination to achieve set goals.
• Great communication & people skills
• Strategic and analytical in your thinking
• SQL language knowledge will be a plus
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
• Hands-on approach, getting things done fast
• Ability to frame issues and develop hypotheses to solve issues
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, graphing and general advanced functions
• Passion for Airbnb and the sharing economy. Being a host on Airbnb is a strong plus
