The Subject Matter Expert Role
The job title does not do justice to this important job!
This role will work with three different expertise areas. One is to support the other SME areas (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Analytics and Learning & Development) to continue the work of cooperating and integrating our initiatives to other HR processes that are either feeding into the talent management area or where we provide insights and input into other processes.
The other area is to support our succession planning initiatives. This process is now moving into a new and broader scope in our organisation.
And the third area is leading the development of digital solutions to all Talent management areas in co-operation with other team members and with other functions. The role will also drive the application and use of data to guide decisions and monitor impact for all the Talent Management areas.
All our team members, and this role, works with problem definitions, risk mitigation, solutions design and implementation and running different processes, ways of working and initiatives.
The demand of our stakeholders and the nature of the work in our group will also engage you in other projects and processes – often in co-operation with colleagues in and outside of the team.
The role reports to the Global Head of Talent Management
The main responsibilities
• Support the SMEs driving the other talent management processes to continue the work of linking the work and processes with other people processes.
• Support the existing succession planning process for critical corporate roles.
• Support the expansion of the succession planning process, design, deliver and run for other critical roles in the organization.
• Plan and drive the digitalization of the talent management processes utilizing the current and developing solutions in the company.
• Head up the work to define, capture and analyze relevant data to provide input for informed decision making and measurement of impact.
Key qualifications
You come with a curious and innovative mind being prepared to challenge and influencing people but also being supportive and a strong team player. You are skilled at working both to understand the big picture but also to create and implement impactful solutions to business challenges. Ability to navigate through uncertainty, having a high degree of flexibility and being able to lead yourself is important traits for this role.
Understanding of, and experience from, the core talent management processes and are orientated on other people/HR processes. Understanding the possibilities of and experience from working on digital transformation projects is important. You are an experienced project leader used to work with internal and external resources.
A well-developed business acumen and a high-level customer centricity is key to this role. You need to be able to communicate with a broad range of stake holders within the organization – many on senior levels.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• University degree from Business, Organization, Leadership or Organizational psychology
• Approximately 8 years of work experience
