What we're looking for:

Citrix is looking for a Senior Product Manager, who will serve as the lead networking PM for SD-WAN, with focus areas spanning across WAN, LAN, Routing, Switching and related networking components of the portfolio. This position will provide expertise in these areas and define features, services, and roadmap to steer the evolution of the product.

You will be expected to deeply understand the technical and business needs of the enterprise and service provider customers, and have a good pulse of the market trends, to be able to conceptualize differentiated product capabilities and build business cases for investments in the right areas. The candidate needs to be able to represent the customers and their needs to engineering, and effectively prioritize the development of the right set of products and capabilities to maximize business value. Further, this role will be called upon to communicate product capabilities and plans to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, and so, the candidate should be able to present effectively to these audiences.

Role Responsibilities

• You will lead the networking charter for the SD-WAN product line, in terms of defining the key outcomes and roadmap, and driving the capabilities from conception to release on an ongoing basis
• Influence the Product Development and R&D teams, to align with the product strategy and priorities
• You will drive and own the product requirements process while working collaboratively with key stakeholders to prioritize and validate technology, features, product direction and strategy.
• Drive strategic initiatives to place decision making close to the customer, using feedback to inform tactical and strategic decisions.
• Conduct market and customer research regarding product acceptance, usage and success and integrate results directly into the product strategy.
• Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and identify key areas of competitive differentiation, as well as identify disruptive opportunities.
• You will contribute to product collaterals, white papers, and presentations.

Basic Qualifications

• You will posses industry knowledge in several of the following areas of enterprise networking: routing, security, software-define WANs, WAN optimization, WiFi and application performance management.
• Have over 4 years of product management experience in enterprise routing, SD-WAN, or adjacent spaces.
• Have over 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering or Product Marketing
• You will have experience with networking (routers, firewalls, gateways, modems); the candidate needs to understand the pain of traditional networking and how new approaches can be applied to reducing these pain points.
• Would have demonstrated ability to document research findings, market analysis, and product requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Have independent problem-solving skills that require solutions for cross- functional matters.
• Have experience in presenting to a wide ranging audiences, including internal stakeholders, webinars, trainings, customer visits, trade shows and industry events.
• Have outstanding organizational skills to coordinate various creative, technical, and administrative projects across the broader Citrix organization; Ability to work with and lead cross functional teams in a matrix organization without authority.
• You will have the ability to present technical information to a variety of audiences, both technical and non- technical.
• You will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering(Computer science preferred)
• Have experience guiding research – customer, market or competitive – for a significant business line or product set.

Preferred Qualifications

• You will have Knowledge of Citrix products
• Have experience in building cloud services, or working with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
• Have a master’s degree (Preferably an MBA)
• Have experience with management of product launches and software release in a large organization
