The People Operations team at Clover Health consists of dedicated individuals that are excited about the opportunity to change healthcare and improve people's lives, which isn't an easy task! We provide guidance, support, and implement programs so that our teams have what they need to do their best work. It's a big job and we're lucky to be able to do it.

We’re looking for a Senior HR Generalist to join our exceptional team! You will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities which will include assisting with functions such as on-boarding, employee relations, feedback and performance coaching, engagement, and program management (LOAs, visa sponsorship, etc). If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, building trusting relationships, and are extremely detail-oriented and resourceful, we want to chat!


As a Senior HR Generalist, you will:

  • Partner with teams across Clover’s various functions and offices to ensure consistency on people-related topics including feedback, growth, performance, culture surveys and morale.
  • Navigate and guide employee relations conversations in the San Francisco office.
  • Utilize the HRIS and other tools as necessary to provide, track and maintain data.
  • Manage Leaves of Absence (LOAs), employee visa sponsorship, terminations, and other administrative HR programs.
  • Plan events and implement employee engagement programs.
  • Proactively share ideas and work with teams to rollout initiatives that improve communication and information flow between offices.
  • Serve as the point of contact for HR-related questions in the San Francisco office.

You should get in touch if:

  • You have a minimum of 4 years of HR Generalist experience.
  • You have program management experience and have owned a program rollout from start to finish.
  • You have experience processing LOAs, visa sponsorships, and terminations.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to influence in a demanding and high-performing work environment and developed strong, trusting relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • You have great judgment and take an unbiased and balanced approach to work.
