Software QA Engineer Intern

Job Description

Join SpotX as a Software QA Engineer Intern. SpotX, an RTL Group company, is the leading video advertising platform unifying TV and digital video globally. As a Software QA Engineer Intern , you are embedded on a development team assisting the embedded (Associate) Software QA Engineer with their day-to-day tasks. How you'll make an immediate impact:

• Support the testing and release efforts for all new features developed by your team
• Attend any meeting of your development team (Daily Scrum Meeting, Estimation Meetings, Planning Meetings, Retro Perspective Meetings
• Attend any QA org meetings
• Assist embedded (Associate) Software Quality Engineer on your development team
• Other duties as required

What we're looking for:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic understanding of one of the following programming languages: PHP, Java, .NET, Python, HTML/CSS, JS, etc
• Basic understanding of Relational Databases, MySql preferred
• Basic understanding of shell prompt (e.g., Unix/linux experience)
