Job Description

Infoblox is seeking a Senior Presales Engineer to join our India Presales team in Bangalore. This person will be responsible for partnering with sales team to lead the growth of presales systems engineering across India through creating possibilities, solving problems and establishing working relationships with customers. This role provides you access to managers, directors and CxO personnel across some of the biggest companies and requires you to be a thought leader and drive revenue contribution for Infoblox solutions. Other responsibilities include owning and coordinating all aspects of the technical sales cycle, as well as maintaining and expanding the customer base within the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on presales experience on Networking, Security and Cloud technologies and managing technical sales of enterprise network solutions on corporate accounts. Infoblox provides plenty of opportunities for learning and career development during your tenure here.

Responsibilities:

  • Solution expert to represent Infoblox and provide all presales technical support and technical account management and presentation
  • Use multiple skills to train and demonstrate for partner and customer; helping them to understand how and why to deploy Infoblox solutions
  • Design and architect Infoblox solution to address customer business and IT pain point
  • Partner effectively with team members to develop solution and customer satisfaction
  • Assist Account Manager or Partner to close opportunities
  • Provide both strategic and day to day technical expertise and thought leader for targeted and assigned accounts
  • Manage, develop and maintain strong, successful relationships with sales teams and key end-user customers for continued business growth
  • Support the sales effort in answering RFPs, solution demonstration and delivering POCs
  • Facilitate smooth transition from sales to implementation by orienting the appropriate teams to the solution design
  • Manage the timely, accurate and quality delivery of presales support, as required to meet sales goals
  • Where required, act as the single face to the customer on all technical issues focusing on customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years experience in managing technical sales of Enterprise Networking, Security and Cloud solutions to corporate accounts
  • Expert in networking technologies
  • Strong knowledge in network security including Firewall, Web Proxy, SIEM
  • Exposure to cloud orchestration tools
  • Strong UNIX O/S knowledge and Active Directory experience would be a plus
  • Strong customer account management
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills, with ability to articulate complex technology
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
  • Self-motivated and flexible
  • Ability to work in the field frequently

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent
