YouParsley Health is looking to hire our first SVP, Finance to lead our Finance Team and drive financial and strategic leadership across our scaling business. You will continue to build our finance function to ensure we are developing a scalable approach to long-term planning. You will be an entrepreneurial leader and a mentor across the company. You will be an important driver in bringing people together as we scale and grow.Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership on financing strategy, board communications, company culture, and corporate development, utilizing your existing relationships and building new ones across the finance community.
• Direct the company's strategic planning initiatives and help to build out strong practices around FP&A. Partner with all members of the senior management team and other company leadership on business strategy
• Utilize financial analysis to craft and execute a strategic plan that drives growth and moves the company forward
• Prepare financial presentations for our venture capital partners and support future fundraising activities (Series C and beyond)
• Build and mentor Finance and Accounting team through the implementation of systems, processes, internal controls and policies
• Demonstrate strong financial stewardship. Direct resource allocation, monitor company expenditures, and help review and negotiate customer and vendor agreements
• Help drive effective board meetings as well as manage communications with the Board of Directors and current and potential investors
• Implement processes, frameworks, and systems that allow us to capture and utilize timely and accurate data across the business to make better decisions
• Provide support on various operational tasks including P&L and financial projections, pricing and valuation models and company presentations
• Develop financial models on an as need basis to influence strategic and operational decision making
• Support the CEO on fundraising efforts and contract negotiations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or similar field
• 7+ years of finance experience in a leadership role
• Previous experience in a startup company
• Prior experience leading fundraising diligence efforts at a growth stage company
• Ability to give financial presentations to a variety of stakeholders, including Parsley Health board, VC Firms, etc
• Experience working cross-functionally and an ability to communicate complex financial concepts and their subsequent impact and requirements articulately across all functions
• Strong technical analytical skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building
• A high level of ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail
