Spokeo is a people search engine that both enlightens and empowers our customers. With over 12 billion records and 18 million visitors per month, we reconnect friends, reunite families, prevent fraud, and more.
We are looking for a sharp WordPress Developer for a 6-8 week project to update Spokeo's blog page. This contract work may be done remotely.
To successfully deliver on this project the following experiences and skills are viewed as super important:

• Proven experience customizing templates (min 3 pro sites experience high bandwidth site experience preferred)
• Experienced in migrating content from existing wp blogs to a new blog site
• Proficiency in CSS, HTML5, and PHP
• Well versed in responsive development
• Experience with performance optimization
• Plus - Working Knowledge of SEO
• Plus - Experience Creating and writing custom plug-ins for WordPress
• Important to navigate our security restrictions and define a working environment that could work for both of both parties
