About the role:

The B/R Betting intern will play an instrumental role in helping the teamwork more efficiently. This candidate will contribute on a daily basis to the production of content across B/R Betting’s social and app platforms.

As the role is located inside Caesar's Palace Casino, all applicants must be at least 21 years of age to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Accompanying team on video shoots and holding the camera and helping as a runner
• Helping to identify content to program on social channels
• Helping curate app stream
• Going through DMs and responding to fans
• Helping ship merch to BR Betting contest winners
• Helping launch TikTok for BR Betting
• Assisting in daily planning
• Maintaining social platform
• Helping with pre-production for social videos

Requirements:

You’ll need to provide an overview of some of the requirements/expectations that you’ll be vetting prospective candidates against.

• Deep understanding of current and emerging social platforms: Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
• Able to write clean copy and proofread
• Passion for pop culture, sports, sports betting and digital media
• Ability to work in a team environment with flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends
• Able to handle last-minute or quick-turnaround deadlines
• Experience working for media organization or student web publication a plus
• Basic web publishing skills a plus

Internship dates are from June 1– August 7, 2020. This is a paid internship and all interns are expected to work 40 hours per week. Prospective interns must be current college students (graduate or undergraduate) or recently graduated (within the last 6 months of the program start date).
