Creative & Marketing Recruiter

This funky, creative and driven digital and creative staffing agency is looking for a recruiter to join our fast-growing Portland t eam! As a division of Aquent, we have global reach but a boutique feel, a spectacular reputation in the industry and - best of all - a culture that is second to none.

We specialize in placing creative talent on contract assignments with advertising agencies and mid-sized businesses that require design, front-end development, UX/UI, online marketing, social media and mobile skills.

In this role, you’ll get to:

• Deliver exceptional customer service through account management and consistent quality checks with both Clients and Talent
• Participate in continual learning seminars with professionals within the design community to stay on top of industry trends and share your knowledge with others

You’ll work on a tight-knit, geographically-focused team of salespeople and other recruiters (talent agents) who will partner with you on order fulfillment. Because we sink or swim as a team, it’s important that you enjoy collaboration and value a team-based approach.

The perfect candidate will be passionate about digital trends, enjoy helping people, be able to achieve a high volume of activity week after week, be resourceful in finding new talent and establish strong working partnerships with our salespeople.

Desired skills & qualifications:

• 1-2 years of creative & design, project management, customer service, marketing, and/or technical recruiting experience preferred
• Professional experience in the design and/or marketing discipline a big plus
• Ability to identify quality design talent and assess portfolios
• A “do what it takes to get the job done” attitude
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to focus quickly on the key issues
• Strong initiative, self-drive and motivation
• Excellent customer service, account development, and relationship-building skills
• Strong negotiation/closing skills and creative follow-through skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills ​
• Most of all, a passion for marketing, design and technology!
