Business Unit: Large Corporates Segment

Our Large Corporates segment focuses on connecting our customers’ businesses to the ever-changing tax, Global Trade, legal and regulatory environment. We provide critical online and print information, decision support tools, software and services to professionals in international trade who practice in Large Corporates.

Thomson Reuters OneSource solutions include products from the Integration Point GTM suite which was acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2018. This is a series of modules specific to a global trade management software solution – meaning, we build software to help thousands of companies manage international trade. Our software helps companies move their products across borders and into the hands of consumers. Our clients are truly global and span all industries (clothing/textiles, automotive, pharmaceutical, and electronics – just to name a few). We are looking for smart, creative team members to work directly with our clients and implement our software.

Role Purpose/ Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with Fortune 500 clients to understand their supply chain processes and provide excellent customer service at all times. Their responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
• Solution configuration and testing
• Preparing project plans, timeframes, and schedules
• Monitoring and tracking projects’ progress and issue escalation
• Tracking issue logs, project budgets and milestones
• Providing internal and external project communication updates on status and deliverables
• Creating project documentation, plans and reports
• Defining business requirements
• Helping to review and document system processes
• Interfacing with other teams internally, for example, the customer support team and the sales and account management teams
• Constantly being on the lookout for ways to deliver better value to the client
• Implement our software to meet each client’s unique business requirements
• Establishing and helping to maintain long term relationships with customers
• Analyzing data to support the global trade management operations of our clients
• Acting as an advisor on matters of tariffs, markets, and federal and foreign regulations
• Bringing an in-depth knowledge of international trade concerns for both the import and export of products

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Required:

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Superior analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

• Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction

• Exceptional attitude towards customer service

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Travel, as needed, to client sites to assist with implementations

• Strong technical affinity for software, data analytics, etc. and motivation to learn/improve SQL

• Ability to multi-task and handle deadline pressures well

• A university degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field.

• High level of accomplishment in bachelor or master’s degree (example Cum Laude level) or you at least 3 year’s relevant work experience

• Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken

Preferred:

• Strong knowledge of SQL writing and reading
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Business level command of a second language, preferably French or German
• For Consultant position: previous work experience in IT project management, supply chain, or a related industry
