Styling Assistant

Job Description

Everlane is seeking a Styling Assistant to help bring our editorial styling to life. As a member of the photo team, the role directly supports our Lead Stylist helping to coordinate all aspects of our on-figure styling department from sample and closet management to preparing pulls to on-set support. The ideal candidate is passionate about style, highly organized and eager to learn.

The Job:

• Help support all areas of editorial and ecom styling for both men and women’s product.
• Manage the sample closet—maintain the flow of new incoming product, help organize racks, prep and put away items from shoots. Work closely with the merchandising team to ensure product in sample closet is relevant.
• Document and pull all styled looks needed for upcoming shoots.
• Be a source of product knowledge. Possess a clear understanding of brand aesthetics and fashion trends.
• Prepare, organize and assist for any run thrus and fittings.
• Assist on set during men’s and women’s photoshoots: helping to dress models and prep the clothes.
• Own communication between cross functional teams around shoot schedule, sample orders and sample sharing.

The Qualifications:

• Previous experience in fashion is preferred (editorial, on set, etc). On set experience is ideal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Interest and understanding of fashion, style, and trends
• Ability to creatively problem-solve and multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude and are self-motivated
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
