Our Senior Manager will use in-depth knowledge in quantitative database marketing and an understanding of business processes to develop technical solutions for business issues. Specifically, duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, write, and present strategic recommendations and projects that directly address clients' toughest questions, and participate in brainstorming sessions that identify new marketing opportunities for clients
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain analytical software programs to support analytical reports and tools and assist in developing internal systems that consistently provide all clients with standard reporting and analysis
  • Extract and process large quantities of data from data warehouses and other data marts in support of assignments, apply data mining and analyze marketing and demographic data, and track and evaluate customer acquisition efforts, market trends and customer behavior
  • Conduct advanced quantitative analyses of the marketing effectiveness of clients and build sophisticated statistical models
  • Work across the business units to leverage leading edge technology and meet client and client team requests on time and with accuracy
  • Organize and maintain research information
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements by staying informed of advancements in the industry and developing vendor relationships to maintain competitive edge in the marketplace
  • Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables
  • Mentor junior analysts, contributing to their technical and career development
  • Anticipate project risk and constraints and proactively work on solutions to address the risk/constraints
  • Lead a team to complete large complex analytical project end to end
  • Demonstrate thought leadership, including developing best practices, case studies, training class materials, whitepapers, and presenting at industry conferences
  • Own one or multiple client analytical relationships or digital capability area with minimal support.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Economics, or related field
  • One (1) year of experience as Data or Strategic Analyst in a performance marketing environment.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience in the above-mentioned field and occupation; or five (5) years of experience in the above-mentioned occupation are acceptable.
  • Knowledge of SAS, SPSS, SQL programming, multi-variate statistics, logistic regression, multiple regression, Excel and Access
  • Hands-on experience with BI or digital analytics tools including Tableau, TIBCO Spotfire, MicroStrategy, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, DMP insight tools
  • Experience with statistical concepts and applying statistical techniques including regression, ANOVA, cluster analysis, factor analysis, time series forecasting, and experimental design.
