Editorial Intern - Loudwire

Loudwire is seeking efficient, organized, detail-oriented editorial interns with a passion for rock and metal music to work in the Townsquare Media office in New York City on a part-time basis. Interns will assist the editor-in-chief with all things editorial-related: writing and editing articles, organizing the editorial calendar, brainstorming story and gallery ideas and setting up and optimizing content in the CMS. Interns will also assist with our sister site Note To Scene, which covers emo and alternative rock.
Interns will learn about viral news content, headline writing, SEO and much more while assisting with these two sites. This internship is unpaid but can be taken for school credit. Previous editorial experience is a plus. Please submit 3 writing samples or clips with your application.
