The Business Analyst supports the Supplies operations by providing reporting, interpretation and data-based recommendations to business leaders across functional areas to make an impact!

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with business partners, designs complex reports using data from various systems to specifications and delivers reports to aid partners, including executive staff, outside the functional area
• Manages reports and uses discernment to look beyond the data to generate recommendations for a wide variety of moderately complex problems
• Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences and understands system relationships and data flow
• May be responsible for managing data governance processes and quality in assigned area of responsibility
• Mentors junior level analysts in data governance, report design and analysis, and data presentation as well as in technical and organizational efficiency

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred
• 8 + years of experience
• PowerBI or other Analytics knowledge is preferred
• Can synthesize complex data into themes and recommendations
• Intermediate systems knowledge in assigned functional area
• Working knowledge of how systems work together and functionality of systems upstream and downstream
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Can present data in a visually compelling format to help business partners understand the issues, possibilities, and recommendations
• Presentation skills required. Some formal training in public speaking/presentation skills preferred
