Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Financial Analyst to join our Global Business organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports and set up new reports for the analysis of costs, revenue and time postings; Analysis of financial results, highlighting exceptions and escalating them as appropriate, and Analysis and allocation of time and billing information from key vendors to projects
  • Support the annual budgeting process for areas within the portfolio, assisting with analysis of headcount, costs and time allocations
  • Provide support to the Global finance Partner on ad hoc project and analytical tasks; liaising with internal stakeholders on finance matters
  • Monitor and track transactions of the a subsidiary entity, ensuring completeness and accuracy of service partner; acting as liaison with the service partner for the subsidiary, providing first point of contact for queries and reporting
  • Maintain role profiles and security within the system, setting up new users and keeping existing profiles up to date; coordinate data extraction for budgeting and other centralized processes
  • Manage the update and modification of cost centers and field names within the system; work with SAP administrators and developers to coordinate the migration of data to TM1

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of financial analyst or similar experience; preferably from a professional services firm
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial or business reports and projections
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to compile and analyze large volumes of data in an efficient manner
  • Proven communication and relationship building skills with the ability to present financial and non-financial information in a clear and effective manner
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis with minimum supervision, to use own initiative to identify practical solutions to resolve issues that arise, and to work with remote, geographically diverse teams on a daily basis
