Yesware is heading in to a big year ahead, filled with an exciting product roadmap and ambitious sales goals to match. We’re expanding our client-facing teams to be able to better support the early stages of our deal cycles by bringing on a Technical Sales Engineer. This role will be responsible for supporting our revenue org in ensuring a successful pre-and-post-sales experience for our clients. They work side-by-side with our sales, customer success, engineering, and product teams to make sure that our prospects are getting immediate value from the Yesware product suite. They will help in particular with Yesware for Outlook/O365 implementation, named pilot support, RFP and security reviews, and other technical consulting. This position will work closely with many teams as a cross-functional liaison between our prospects, our revenue team, and our product team. About the Role:- Support our salespeople and our sales opportunities
- eg. Train and educate salespeople on technical product capabilities, create content and internal tutorials to help reps be self-sufficient
- Serve our customers
- eg. Work directly with current and potential clients to make informed recommendations and provide best practices in utilizing Yesware data based on their unique business needs, help roll out pilots for new prospects
- Become an expert in the technology
- eg. Be equipped to understand a prospects unique IT environment set-up, as well as their security policies and concerns
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams
- eg. Assess and prioritize new technical requirements: identify issues, build a business case, work with teams to manage and prioritize requests
About our Ideal Candidate- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Unique combination of technical acumen and client-facing skills
- Experience in the technology industry
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft, Outlook, and/or Windows ecosystems
- Some coding ability a plus (eg. Python, SQL, etc.)
- Ability to quickly build rapport, understand technical issues, and communicate effectively with clients over phone, email, and in person
- Open to periodic travel for customer visits as needed
- Dedicated to the client and their success
