Your Opportunity
The Advisor Services Segment Marketing team works closely with segment owners and business partners to develop effective strategies, programs and communications that strengthen and deepen our relationship with advisors.
The Segment Marketing Manager will be part of the Advisor Services Segment Marketing team and is responsible for creating effective marketing initiatives and communications targeted to advisor clients that will help them leverage Schwab solutions and services to scale and grow their business, better serve their clients and improve the way they work.
What you’re good at
- Collaborating with key stakeholders, including segment owners, business partners, marketing partners and channel owners to develop integrated marketing plans and implement all marketing programs and communications
- Developing and executing effective marketing communications including emails, marketing collateral, videos, webcasts, events, newsletters, articles, website and social content
- Working with and managing external agency partners to deliver differentiated marketing communications
- Utilizing marketing automation capabilities to optimize communications
- Project managing content and creative development from beginning to end including development of status documents, timelines and schedules
- Tracking marketing against business goals to measure success
- Staying flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced and changing work environment
- Understanding the B:B space, the needs of investment advisors and how to engage them (preferred)
What you have
- 3+ years marketing experience in the financial services industry or related field; understanding of the independent registered investment advisor (RIA) business preferred
- History of executing successful marketing plans, programs and communications
- Ability to build strong working relationships and trust across business lines
- Experience working with external agencies to develop marketing communications and content
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects with short timelines
- Ability to write effective marketing communications and content
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including marketing/creative brief writing, copywriting, editing, proofing
- Self-starter who is willing to dig in, take responsibility and figure things out with little direction
- Self-motivated with solid judgment and ability to think clearly and form a point of view
- Results-focused and able to work in team-based environment to achieve goals
- Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills
