In this role, you have the opportunity to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of Diagnostic Imaging/ MR components and products. You are responsible for completing appropriate data analysis across the lifecycle of overall system, sub-system and component levels to ensure completeness of data record, customer delivery continuity, and optimum level of products quality for our customers.
You are responsible for
· Checking integrity of CAD-E and associated assemblies and CAD-M data
o Check data before transfer on correctness and completeness
o Approver in Agile for electronic DMR.
· Transfer to suppliers: Exchanging data with suppliers
· Communication person between Philips and supplier about DMR issues.
· Consulting on applicable standards, tools and assembly processes
o Main contacts are with (senior) developers and designers of electronic circuits, designers of programmable logic and designers of cabinets, cables and mechanical sub-assemblies as well as with suppliers of electronic components, PCBA’s and electronic sub-assemblies.
· Managing lifecycle of components
o Once a month EOL meeting with more BU’s about eol components.
o Obsolescence: actively collect this data and initiate the necessary actions to optimize consequences for the products these components are used in or on.
o Dual sourcing: ensure dual sourcing is in place for key electronic components
o Do proactive scanning on PCBA’s when components will be EOL with CPM.
· Improvement proposals: Learning from current way of working propose improvements
· Support: General support to development groups regarding TPD and technical issues
· Complete Installed Base searches and quality analysis
· Other activities:
o Actual assembly of PCBA data for transfer to supplier (‘Sam zak’).
o Suggest process improvements for data integrity incl. ECR and EoL, data transfer and data storage.
o Assist low-frequent users in data transfer and archiving.
o Assist in CAD-E tool validation.
o Assist in qualifying component, PCBA and assembly suppliers.
o Preparation of sam zak(in zip format) for quotes, including description for use.
o Consultancy on technological solutions used at potential supplier.
o Based on specific EoL signal, create relevant ECR, cf. next bullet.
Consultant in EoL solutions: e.g. advice on business driven choice between EoS, redesigns, last-time-buy and rework service parts alternatives.
You are a part of Diagnostic Imaging/ MR R&D Team located in Pune. Philips HIC, Pune is playing a key role in Philips global strategy for Diagnostic Imaging. With Philips HIC, the foundation was laid to touch billions of lives and reiterate Philips commitment towards Indian and growth healthcare markets.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
· Master or Bachelor Degree in electronic engineering.
· Expertise in CAD-E and CAD-M tools for data integrity purposes.
· Be expert user in data storage and (meta-) data transfer tools, e.g. Agile, Windchill SAP-PLM, SAP-IPPe, PDX, ODB++ etc.
· Be expert user in version control of TPD, CAD-E and non-volatile PL data.
· Experience in Transfer of data on PCBA’s and assemblies to and from relevant suppliers, including Engineering change and End-of-Life issues
· Knowledge of FDA and IEC Standards is a plus
· Disciplined team worker, ability to work independently
· Ability to present ideas and to convince project team members
· Be structured and self-organized
· Positive ‘can do’ attitude
· Team player, drive for results
· Quality mindset in analysis and documentation
