Job Description
The Financial Analyst is responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and reporting capital authorizations and expenditures, and supporting International affiliates with their RCE submissions. The Financial Analyst may also assist the Global Commercial Finance organization with the preparation of presentation materials for forecasting cycles.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Administrator of the RCE process, which includes managing requisitions, providing approvals (when needed), and ensuring compliance with corporate policy.
- Support the planning and reporting of OUS capital expenditures. Assists with variance analysis and commentary for planning cycles and management reporting.
- Provides accurate and timely financial planning and analysis deliverables.
- Subject matter expert on using the Rapid RCE tracking system.
- Assists with ad hoc analysis, supports projects and process improvements as requested.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and assisting with special projects or initiatives, as assigned, which vary based on AbbVie’s business transactions and priorities.
Basic:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA preferred.
- 2-4 years accounting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be detail oriented.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to successfully interact with affiliates/areas & senior management
- Experience using TM1, HFM Smartview, and advanced Excel is preferred
