Job summary

The Red Hat Global Partner and Technical Enablement team is looking for an Enablement Solutions Architect with a focus on DevOps and containers to join us. In this role, you will provide technical enablement and support to partners and Red Hat associates, both solution architects and consultants, using Red Hat DevOps and containers technologies. You'll use your in-depth product knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible, and related technologies to create enablement content, including interactive labs, and deliver it to both partners and Red Hat associates. You will provide technical expertise to partner alliance management associates and partners through sales presentations and product demonstrations, proofs of concepts, online and in-person training, etc. You'll also assist partners and internals in assessing potential application of Red Hat solutions to meet customer needs. As an Enablement Solutions Architect, you may assist partners in building out Red Hat container management infrastructure in a partner lab environment to demonstrate feasibility of using Red Hat cloud technologies to partner’s customers. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.

Primary job responsibilities

• Develop training content, including interactive labs, for both online and in-person delivery
• Deliver product training through instructor-led and online classes
• Develop other enablement materials such as demos and reference architectures
• Create, automate and support innovative infrastructure solutions for enablement needs
• Attend, present and provide support at Red Hat and partner events
• Participate in team scrum and agile development and reporting methodologies
• Assist partners with proof-of-concepts involving Red Hat cloud products
• Help escalate and resolve technical support issues when necessary

Required skills

• 10+ years of IT industry experience
• 2+ years experience with Linux containers and container orchestration; experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift is a plus
• 2+ years experience with platform automation using Ansible, Puppet or equivalent
• 2+ years experience as instructor for relevant IT technologies; advanced technical training is a plus
• 2+ years courseware development experience for relevant IT technologies
• 2+ years experience with application development languages and frameworks such as Java, Node.js, SpringBoot, and similar
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equal combination of skills and experience.
• Knowledge of DevOps and agile methodologies, continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), Jenkins, testing frameworks, and similar
• Solid verbal and written communications skills
• Knowledgeable and conversant with open source technologies and industry trends relating to open source as well as the cloud marketplace
• Excellent time management, decision-making, presentation, social networking and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Willingness to travel up to 25 – 50%
• Ability to work in a remote office environment
