Shutterstock Inc. seeks a Data Engineer I in New York, NY to contribute to all aspects of Enterprise Integration under the team’s ownership, which includes design, implementation, refactoring, solution management, testing, deployment, and uptime of the services. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience deploying and maintaining enterprise scale integration systems serving processes. Prior experience must include five (5) years of enhancing and supporting integration architecture solutions for company information system environments; improving data integration by designing and evaluating new data interchange formats, including canonical models, database technologies and Salesforce; performing planning and scoping functions in support of Enterprise Data Integration projects; developing integration components to integrate with third party enterprise applications using Java; designing database tables and writing database scripts; using SQL and other tools to query, analyze and understand data from databases and other sources; and utilizing Enterprise Integration and Master Data Management tools, REST APIs, Postman, SOA architecture, and relational and NoSQL databases to build scalable applications.
